Each course normally requires less than two hours to complete and replaces about half a day of workshop or classroom training. Now that’s a bargain!
2. ESD "C"s: CDM, Class 0, and Chinese.
Can you afford an ESD Control Program based upon "business as usual"? Or should you learn about CDM failures and handling super sensitive devices known as "Class 0"? ESD: See It! Believe It! Control It! explains CDM failure. ESD: Class 0 addresses current and ongoing issues with ultra sensitive devices. Both courses are available in LAN and hosted WEB formats. Or you can install them on your corporate server.
The first LearnTech® course in Mandarin Chinese is reported to be "wonderful, with clear pronunciation and suitable speed". Place your order now for the new Simplified Chinese version of ESD Control for Operators.
3. "The Perfect ESD Storm" Workshop returns to New England this July.
- The "Perfect Storm" Workshop is back. Travel to MA for CDM + Class 0 = “The Perfect ESD Storm” July 25 and 26th, 2007.
Are you skeptical about this news of a Class 0 trend? Is it really happening? Is it likely to be a problem in your factory? How big a problem is CDM in manufacturing? What is different about CDM controls? How do you tailor S20.20 for CDM and Class 0?
New this year: Challenging class exercises to help students understand ESD induction and the proper use of ESD auditing test equipment. The second issue of S20.20 will be reviewed and you will learn how to tailor it for "The Perfect Storm". Technological advances since last year’s workshop will also be presented.
- Action Plan:
- If you didn’t attend last year, then pre-study the theory through the LearnTech Class 0 on-line course. (see special above!)
- Email or call ALC for more information on the workshop.
- Travel to MA for The Perfect Storm Workshop.
- Educate your workforce back in the plant with Class 0 on-line training.
4. Who supplies the content in LearnTech® training courses?
I am frequently asked how content is generated for LearnTech® generic training courses. ALC personnel are experts at creating individualized, interactive on-line training that really works. We are very comfortable with technical topics, but are not content experts in every subject. So how do we ensure that our content is accurate, timely, and relevant to the learner requirements? Check the credits page on any of our courses for a list of industry experts who have partnered with ALC to provide content and support course development with content, graphics, and reviews.
All LearnTech® courses are developed to industry standards with top-level support from the experts. Our focus is always on providing proven best practices, and we make every effort to include a variety of product and supplier solutions through our graphics. Moreover, we welcome our customer’s comments and suggestions for improvement at all times.
5. How can you save time and money on your Lean or Lean Healthcare Green or Black Belt?
Through a carefully chosen partnership, ALC is able to offer you on-line courses in Lean Green Belt or Lean Black Belt Lean with specialty in Healthcare or Supply Chain. You are given six months to complete three months of work at your own pace. Expect meaningful assignments and professional mentoring. What do customers say about these on-line Lean leadership courses? Here is a sample:
"At first, I was reluctant to take an online course, so I asked a lot of questions. ALC's professional and timely responses gave me the feeling that I have a safety net, so I enrolled in the "Lean HealthCare Certification" course.
I love the course. I am pleased to see how meaningful all of the units are and how well they are laid out. I appreciate the many resources at my disposal as well as the flexibility related to time and projects. The mentors have been very helpful and extremely responsive.
As a result of this satisfaction, I have recommended this course to colleagues, who have also enrolled."
