Audience

One of a set of five interactive multimedia programs for electronic assembly operators and others, who deal with electronic components in their work.


Objectives

Participants successfully completing these programs will be able to:

  • Identify types of switches and relays using physical characteristics and markings
  • Match PCB and circuit diagram symbols to component types
  • Recognize the units used to rate switches and relays
  • Describe the function of switches and relays and identify polarity requirements
  • Match a Bill of Materials to the appropriate switch or relay
  • Identify packaging methods used to protect in shipping and handling
Qualification and Certification Testing
