Leading Edge Training Institute Limited. (“Leading Edge”) takes very seriously the issue of safeguarding your privacy online. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for users of the Leading Edge (LeanSCM) Web Site and for information received about you when you become a Leading Edge user, and when you provide information to us (for example when participating in a chat). We require that you provide learner information when you register for Leading Edge courses. Learner registration information consists of contact information such as name, subscriber password, address, telephone number, e-mail address, department and job title. Typically, the learner information is exported from your companies human resource system. Leading Edge uses the subscriber information to provide learners with access, track data about utilization of Leading Edge’s Services, track completion of courses and record test scores with associated courses. Leading Edge may also use subscriber information to contact learners as part of our follow-up services, including but not limited to contact initiated by our mentoring services, reminders regarding completion requirements, and emails to encourage learner participation in scheduled learning events for which they are eligible.

Leading Edge will not share any information that personally identifies users with any third party (including advertisers and direct marketers (but excluding leading Edge co-branded entities through which you register and user employers, if applicable), without the user’s permission, unless Leading Edge believes in good faith such disclosure is required by law or to protect our rights, or the safety or rights of other users or the public.

In order to provide you with additional features and services, Leading Edge may offer its services in connection with a third party entity via a co-branded Web site. In the event a user utilizes to a Leading Edge co-branded service, the third party entity will have access to the information collected by Leading Edge, on both an aggregated and a non-aggregated basis.

The Leading Edge Web site may contain links to other Web sites. You may be directed to Web sites that are beyond the control of Leading Edge. For example, if you click on a link or advertisement, this may take you off the Leading Edge Web site. This includes links to advertisers and co-branding entities. These other Web sites may collect personal information from you. They may also send cookies to you. Leading Edge is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other Web sites and such other Web sites are not bound by the terms of the Leading Edge Privacy Statement. In addition, if Leading Edge references, recommends or co-brands with any third party Web sites, Leading Edge requests that visitors to these sites read the privacy statements posted therein as Leading Edge makes no representations about such third party policies. If you feel that a Web site using the Leading Edge name or e-scp logo does not follow an acceptable privacy policy, please contact us. We will send complaints to the appropriate third party and may in particular circumstances, advocate on your behalf to attempt to cause the third parties to change their privacy policies.

Users might provide submissions through virtual classes, direct contact with mentors, discussions forums, bulletin boards, chat sessions, email exchanges/forums or newsgroups made available to users on the Leading Edge Web site. Any submission by a user immediately becomes the property of Leading Edge. Leading Edge may use these submissions for purposes that enable Leading Edge to improve their service, including, but not limited to, development of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), archive for review by subsequent classes, incorporation into other courses, and for training Leading Edge personnel. Leading Edge operates secure data networks and strives to protect personal information and privacy. However, no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while Leading Edge strives to protect personal information, Leading Edge cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information users transmit to or from the Leading Edge Web Site.

Leading Edge has implemented security and technology security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of Leading Edge user information from unauthorized access or improper use, and we will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available. While we utilize our best efforts to protect your personally identifiable information, Leading Edge cannot guaranty or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
